Tefillin & Mezuzah Checking

We’re happy to let you know that with the arrival of the month of Elul, we are offering Tefillin and Mezuzah checking, as well as the opportunity to purchase new ones.

We designated a special day when you can bring your Tefillin and Mezuzahs to the Chabad House, where they will be checked quickly and efficiently, as outlined below.

The Mezuzah serves as a source of protection for our homes, and it is customary during Elul to pay special attention to the quality and kosher status of both Tefillin and Mezuzahs. By doing so, we prepare ourselves spiritually and are blessed with a good and successful year ahead.

These services are available all-year-round, but during Elul, right before the High Holidays, we prepare for a larger volume of requests.
